Notes from The Sunlight School Activity – “Cinderella the Grateful”

“Cinderella the Grateful” was a collaborative Sunlight School activity, conceived by Adry Caro, Rose Maloney, and Vaselina Kim under the guidance of Mr. Aki Yoshioka.

They wanted to inspire the children of the New York Sho Dojo to be of service to our Center. By retelling the story of Cinderella (a fairytale known throughout the world) in a yokoshi way, the children were excited and enthusiastic to participate.

Everyone involved – the children, parents, Tai, and all participants - worked together in love and harmony. Everyone was so happy to be a part of this!
We were all so surprised and happy to have been asked to perform “Cinderella the Grateful” both for May and for July Monthly Thanksgiving Ceremony!
